Does the DX90 have a volume pot on the Line Out like the DX50?
This is about my only criticism of the DX50

I don't care what anyone says, a Line Out should always be a fixed voltage.

Sigh.

There is no "volume pot" at all in the DX50, the DX90 or the DX100. Volume is controlled in the digital domain, the amplifier is set at a fixed level. This means that there is zero channel imbalance or pot noise on the HO and a varialbe LO means that your amp just won another 255 gain settings. Or, you know, guys like me with active speakers kinda like having volume control.

I don't. It's still wrong in my book.
But I get your point about active speakers.

Got some info from ibasso.
There are 1000 quotas for the first batch, so no need to wait aside the ibasso homepage!

I am very interested in it as well. I guess there should be no major issues related to software and UI since everything is borrowed from the DX50.
The DX50 had some flaws on the first firmware versions but now it's pretty stable and I think it's an excellent DAP! I have nothing to complain about the UI, the touchscreen, the case, the sound quality not even the battery.

And I suppose iBasso should have no problems implementing the dual DAC, considering it's been done a few times on other devices of their own. I'd be pretty disappointed if they mess up with anything the wrong way...

Emailed iBasso about the ordering process and got the following reply:

Hi, thank you for your email.
I will email you once we release the DX90.  You can order it from our site once the DX90 is released.

Can't wait! This will be my first audiophile grade DAP! Hopefully making that AKG K545 sound better than it already is...

Although having said that, I was contemplating between the Pono and DX90.. but with no specifications from Pono and the immanent release of DX90, the sound choice is obvious /kappa
