after updated to the new firmware, file name with ' symbol still cannot be played nor scanned into the library....... there are tons of tracks with this symbol....

If someone gets stuck in the iBasso screen after update do this:
Press power until the screen turns back and then holding power press vol+ and maintain it 5sec
Then move with vol+ and vol- to Wipe.
Wipe everything and the next time it will power on well

word of advice, do not upgrade to new firmware yet....

Confirmed 24/192 flac doesnt work.... tried two albums already....

 
guys, please detect if there are SS changes.... my reference album doesnt play...so far I detect more noise.... or maybe i am just furious...

I don't want to update without link to original firmware that comes with dx50, I like the SQ, it woks fairly well, I have no problem fixing ' through mp3tag actions menu, that too I do that after copying files to dx50, so the original files stay intact with all those spl symbols.

i got no problem playing 24bit 192 flac after the update

I just updated and my 24/96 files are playing.  A few songs that would freeze up and did not play before are playing now.  I can select all songs and play that list.  System info lists V1.1.5

I was just able to pull up a screen that had the option "Add to Playlist."  I selected that but then I don't know where to find the playlist and I can't seem to recreate what I just did.  I guess it's still being programmed so hopefully we get that with the new update.

I can't play 24/192 files after the update either. They played fine before. Mine is 2nd batch. It is playing at very slow speed on these files.

I'm going to test my 24/192 files in a bit as soon as my device completes "Media Scanning..."  
 
Is anyone having problems with the DX50 rescanning when turning on the device after you completed turned it off?  It's not going to cut it if I have to wait 20 mins for it to rescan every time I turn the device on.
 
Update: Just tried playing 24/192 flac files and it loads just fine but very slow.  When I try to play the song it plays back at a very low speed as if you were to shut down or turn off a vinyl on a turntable.
