That's because it is supposed to be bigger than the AKs =.=

Hey, yeah I'm pretty happy with my Octave. Thinking of getting a m2tech hiface for 24/192.

mate, get Audiophilleo instead, i bought Audiophilleo 2 Pure Power Unit combo and could not be happier with my decision. it costs more but it will be one stop solution and you will stop worry about any upgrades for long time.

Jazzyfi. You can go for the JKenny Ciunas. It is battery powered and reasonably priced.

It is all just a dream. Nobody actually ordered a dx50, and no company called iBasso even exist. Take the red pill man!

Regarding DX50's USB OTG:  a self-powered portable hard drive (2.5", 2TB, NTFS) should work, correct?

DX50's headphone output level does not specify load impedance. Was it done at 32 ohm? If DX50's HP output voltage does not change significantly across headphones' impedance (i.e., 12-600 ohm), then its output level would be similar to that of Fiio X3.

Seeing as how those angles and that lighting wasn't in any product shots/renderings or photos so far, and the attention to detail and environmental interaction, this would be a impressive photoshop done for no reason I can think of.

One reason I can think of is we can all break our heads in the mysterious appearance of DX50, this should even surprise iBasso, and they most likely be seeing it first time on how the product might look in use case scenario!

Diminishing returns for usb to spdif converters is the worst damn...

aha, i am listening to diminishing returns in my system and the only thing i can tell is that the absence of these goodies in my system was indeed diminishing my returns, so now i feel very happy that i put away all prejudices and did it :)
