I find it strange that they don't even have a single production model ready yet. Do they plan on making us wait an extra month to make them when we pay on the 20th?

Without knowing anything else, the possibilities are endless from here.

I received an email from iBasso. First of all, their reply is lightning fast but unfortunately DX50 will have only 8 gb + microsd card only. For most of us, it is good enough but for me, I am not sure. I hope all other aspects will cover it and I won't mind the lack of capacity.

Yeah, there is nothing wrong with communicating and asking. Also they are very helpful and very fast on reply, it was nice indeed. All and all, my interest continues but I would like to see some reviews first.

Good to hear, and 8gb + mirco SD is fine for me. I'll buy a 64gb and that should be plenty

I'm ordering day 1. My fuze's lock button has gotten so worn out that I have trouble unlocking my fuze sometimes -_-. Would be nice if B&H would put the fiio x3 on display at their store already; I'd like to be able to hear the x3.

Also, any cheap card does the job for me since I haven't bought the SD cards make a difference thing yet.

Perfect timing that my iPod Shuffle died, which I use for jogging. Now I can switch to my iPod Nano for jogging and have the DX50 as my traveller I'll be buying one on the first day as well.

this is what I’m curious about as I use an HP-P1 with my iphone and Senn IE800. Wondering if there’ll be any noticeable differences in sound between the two.
 
I know the HP-P1 has a high 10 ohm output impedance, but it’s had no real negative effect on the IE800. multiBA  IEMs might fare worse on the fostex vs the DX50 since it has a near zero OI.

Just based off of X3's output power (270mW into 32 ohms) vs. HP-P1's output power (80mW + 80mW into 32 ohms) and iBasso's inclusion of three gain settings, I have a feeling the DX50 will have a more powerful amp section.
 
We'll have to wait for definite answers, though.
