I am late on this story, how can i tell if i have the FPGA 2.0 or 3.0? Or all DX340 is already 3.0?
All DX340 is FGPA3.0. For the first batch is Misprinted. Confirmed by Paul from IBasso.

@holsen
@quaddac

Was your DX340s early batch too (FPGA 2.0 sticker)?

Not trying to jump to conclusions here, but if both of your units are early batch then it can't just be coincidence.
Yes, mine was one of the first retail units out of Bloom

wait, is this serious?
There is no way it can be serious, I just hope people don’t take it seriously and spend more than they need to on an sd card

Below post is from @mattclarke18, the one who created the IBasso optimisation guides, can say he is pretty knowledgeable on how to make these iBasso perform better and I think his post says it all:

I just got a Swissbit and sounds better to my ears than Dx260 internal memory same everything except storage location.

I'll give credit where its due, but this one is kilometers of snake oil on the floor. industrial SD cards are made specifically for specific requirements like CCTV where it will be installed in remote areas where installing a local recording server is not possible.

Industrial cards are expensive for sure but nobody here is making any kind of commission or referrer links from recommending industrial microsd cards.

You may think in theory digital storage is 1 and 0 and can never fail or cause issues but in real world application, these microsd cards are electrical components and are physically in close proximity and electrically connected to the DAP and would generate its own electromagnetic interferences and these interferences would affect the final precision of these highly sensitive, high precision DAC converters, digital and analog circuitry and yes the microsd is drawing power from the dap battery as well. So it does have its own effect on the dap. Also understand that Data transmission itself is prone to errors and data storage is prone to bit rot problems too.

Many headfiers have discovered that microsd has influence on sound quality. Well, see all these posts for yourself.

it's already hard to believe that cables can make the sound different and then now i see this LMAO.

I used to think that cables don't make a difference but I recently re-discovered that thicker gauge cables can change an IEM's impedance and affect dynamic range which was clearly evident with my Lavricables Grand IEM cables vs the stock Timestream cables which sounded way too "closed in".

Thicker grade I can buy into, a $20k power cord made from the tears of a unicorn… less so
