True that if you also want to stack with PB5 as well...so triple stack!
And yes, since I first removed the DC rubber cover, I've stuck it into the 3.5mm SE port on the AMP15 )
There's no better place for it!
Now on AMP14 I don't have the DC plug anymore...instead I earned a fixed Voltage LO port...so that's going to be great for stacking it with PB5
Neutron sound better to me than Mango for local play. It fully supports the 340 per their support. Mango is disabled on my DAP as don't care about using USB DAC etc.
If you have 3.5mm line-in on your car system or whatever get adapter to goto 4.4 and the volume is much better. With 3.5mm line in I had to raise volume of my car system a lot more. DX340 still sounds much better on Maven II than car system which is stock but still improved car system a lot. Appears the digital/DAC does use a lot of battery as Line out should be bypassing AMP.

DX340 sounds better in some aspects vs the full on desktop setup I used to have.
I can hear details that I never heard before and the soundstage placement is dreamy, especially with DSD tracks I may have overlooked before.
This is all without Super Gain mode too.
It's like I can finally sit down and listen to my Jazz and Classical DSD albums that I collected over the years.

Quick question, is there a firmware file for the older firmware that I can flash onto my DX340 via QFIL and does it remove my root access if I do that?
I want to test if its a problem after updating the firmware that my DX340 stutters when playing DSD512 files....

I will get from Paul when he comes back. The "used" DX340 does not boot. This has not been a good week for me. I have to flash it. I did not have a very short pause when unplugging 12CDC from amp on old FW. Now I do and don't like it.

No out of the box. When Bobby did wipe data something must have happened. I do not even get the battery status when plugged into charger. Its like its dead. Going to try and flash now.
Did you see this when you flashed? It is writing the image. I tried the XMLs you did and it does not write anything.
Flashed 2 times and still dead. What is the size torx bit for AMP card? I am going to have to remove battery and see if that resets everything.
I am not sure, he bought the unit from me and I guess somehow when I erased the device through the android settings maybe something went wrong and it looks like the FW got corrupted.
Unfortunately I don't know how to help here other than refund him and take the DAP back and handle it with Paul since I bought from iBasso direct, so I am just waiting to see if he can fix it.
