So, @mattclarke18 , I look into pure battery that doesnt need any additional Battery Management systems that can introduce noises into the audio. Measured from floor noises -205db/Hz at 10kHz. That is the best there can be measured

Nickle Cadmium is the best suitable as battery packs.

These Ni-Cd packs can be found with 12V and a charger easily off Amazon or Ebay.

Ni-Cd also comes in AA sizes and it takes 10 cells in series to make up 12V for compactability. You can then buy a charger to charge up.

All you need is to make a DC cables that allow you to plug 340 into it and a charger to charge it up

In all fairness they are the only USA dsitributor for iBasso products so I wouldn’t call him a reviewer necessarily. Ask a salesman to review the product he sells and you can get good categorization amongst the other products he sells but not necessarily a review.

Onto other posts.
The hyperbole here has gotten so thick it’s like Canadian Molasses. Good to see a few more folks getting this in their hands and ears. It’s on the list for me for certain and I’ll have to check with Bloom to see when more stock is expected but if my expectations aren’t met I’m coming back here for a few of you, especially since you state it’s the greatest dap of the year period without the “to my ears” caveat 🤣.
It's the greatest DAP of the Century, with bells!!.

Does anyone have any Album to recommend me ? I want something New!! I want organic instruments but with Dances/rock/metal mix, not synthetic please

You described Mocky perfectly, he combines acoustic instruments with electronic flavor.

This is a good album I always go with to test IEMs and headphones,

Mocky - Key Change (2015)

Album " BrianBromberg - Lafaro" song"Blue In Green" . Some have questioned the bass impact of the DX340 on this forum . This stand up Bass player sounds so impactful on my Ibasso DC-Elite with my Maven 2's. Would love to hear back how the song sounds on the DX340 before I buy. Thanks

Awesome prog metal rock with excellent production
Love it!!!! Exactly what I wanted!! Moarrr pleawee

The reasons why I am loolong for these is because organic instruments have never been sounding so lively and organic, realism this way from a digital source....let alone DAP, I have been loving it since D16 and now 340 !!!

There wouldnt be questionable things about Bass from the 340. Some have desires that once plugged in 12VDC, there are more impacts and rumbles tp be had. Wishing that it could be similar without DC-in.

But you can not defy physics...cant run a quality 12V from a Linear psu and compare to a mere 3.5V battery packs, or 8V operational rails on the 340 itself without DC

However, we are human, and we have dirty desires 😆😉

I know this is unreasonable, but I love the sound of the DC-Elite. Can anyone compare with the DX340 without laughing.
