Taipan D16 is now on sale for around 1250€, so if the DX340 will be similar in terms of sound and power output - this is reasonable price to have this dap with additional screen, android and etc...

Anyway, I will wait for reviews and comparisons with other new daps in this price range before making a choice

I still can't find any info if the amp 15, that comes with the 340 is Class A amp. I know people are saying, that Ibasso has been using class A amps in the past, but this does mean that all of their amps has been A . Does anyone know anything about it?

I think it's mentioned that it's "super class A", which, from what I got, is basically biased Class AB

Same. My D16 is within the return window. For a couple hundred I can get the DX340 which has a screen and controls too.

Not to mention it has a built in source (Android/Mango OS), can swap amp modules and AMP15 has a DC plug in-power mode for even more power. Dual batteries as well but is configured differently than past iBasso DAPs it seems.
