is there an option selection on the android app for Apple Music... I haven't seen one...
Yes, just checkedis there an option selection on the android app for Apple Music... I haven't seen one...
It could be almost perfect AIO unit. But if you plan to connect it to your PC you might get latency.Looking at getting an all in one for headphones only. Budget around £1200. Have been looking at the Luxsin x9, Fiio k17, and the Aune sc9 Pro. But the more I read about the 340 the more appealing it becomes. How does this compare to desktop all in ones of a similar price? Thanks
@Psychonaut71 Probably the most appealing option of comparing the DX340 to the desktop units you listed is the fact that with the DX340 you have the option of tech swap out with different Amps... you want Tubes.... NU Tubes.... or Solid State AB... and a few more options are in the works for future release.... it depends on your headphone/iem selection if the 2.1 watts is enough for them then great.... the DAC/SOC with Android 13 is very robust and feeds the different tech of Amps very well.... one nice option to have with the newer Android OP system is that you can utilize the large data base of EQ/Emulation from https://squig.link/ and fine tune your headphones/iems utilizing the apps Wavelet or PowerAmp.... you can even use the emulation feature and have your iems/headphones emulate a different brand/model ... the DX340 is more like a mini desktop model... did anyone mention it weighs a ton... ha ha... but its still portable for moving to other listening points... its a very capable music player...Looking at getting an all in one for headphones only. No PC - just Apple Music and Qobuz from the appIt could be almost perfect AIO unit. But if you plan to connect it to your PC you might get latency.
do to the screen being 1080 resolution and this DAP has auto portrait mode the Youtube Music App looks and plays very well...
Thanks for the detailed response. That sounds very tempting. Especially with all the EQ and amp swaps. Will be running DCA E3, Fiio FX17 and Oppo PM-1. It won’t be mobile as such, will stay in the house or office so I don’t mind about the weight. Playing Apple Music but now thinking of joining Qobuz as well.@Psychonaut71 Probably the most appealing option of comparing the DX340 to the desktop units you listed is the fact that with the DX340 you have the option of tech swap out with different Amps... you want Tubes.... Fiio is in the process of replacing the M17 and its due in about 1 month... they have indicated it will also offer user replaceable batteries.... it won't have the same DAC as the DX340 as the DAC in the DX340 is not an off the shelf chip... the new Fiio M27 should be an interesting update... can't wait to see what they come up with...Hi, I'm looking for a new DAP, I'm currently choosing between the M17 and the DX340, has anyone compared them directly? I would appreciate any feedback. Thank you.
