Hence I said different cards will have different performances. It just happens to be the most obvious between consumer grade VS industrial grade.

but i am so done with this topic, I will let people who decide to do so, do so. Because I am sure that whatever the debates are, I will always rate both EDGE=MICRON with different signatures and will always be my primary choices
no swissbit? just edge and micron?

No swissbit tested by me yet. It doesnt have the capacity I looked for, and being sensible, spending on both edge/micron and a plethora of other sandisk/samsung already drained me dry. Now, incoming Exceria 2TB....just what I had been looking for but expensive none the less.

Exact reason why I didnt go for it since Edge already was at 400GB and was quiet costly. I bought it because I witnessed the differences between sandisk ultra VS extreme Pro. Then the differences between Extreme Pro vs Edge was very apparent, so I went and got me a Micron. Now Exceria, what most exciting about Exceria is that it has Bics 3D structures.

do keep us posted please, very interesting. Could be a super replacement to the common industrial cards if it holds it's ground

🤣😆 this thread is titled Ibasso DX340, how did pigeon poop comments, snake oil cables, sd cards voodoo infest this
Go bug some Reddit posts or threads 🤫

Just because you can see physical damages on CD's/vinyls and can't on a SD card doesn't mean digital data is read/written perfectly.

Digital data not just perfect ones and zeroes. There's stuff like timing errors, jitters etc and if you experience things like DDC's and usb cables the differences are obvious.

Edit: Try playing a game of Chinese whispers but instead with a drum solo. Compare original drummer and the last drummer lol

Release notes are not included in firmware file. Just click on "check update" button and changes/fixes will be displayed.

Regarding the firmware update: my device initially refused to update ("update failed"). Only worked after a factory reset (via recovery mode). Did another reset after the update (always a good practice).

What interesting is that both Micron and Exceria are using QLC tech but with Exceria now has direct CMOS per cell

Anyone report on new firmware yet ? @DAPpower ?

Didn't get my unit back from Bloom Audio yet, I will get it tomorrow.

@Stouthart
That's a good practice actually, or you could probably flash it instead of local update too. Whichever is better.
