I have an Onix XM5. It’s pretty dismal as a player, so I use it as a Dac/amp. I used to plug it into the 320, and it will crash the 320. It’s crashed the SP3K, even Samsung phones. Happy to report. Plays like a champ on the 340.

Just different. I have a collection of such stuff for variety. I get bored fast, so I have a bunch of IEMs, cables, players, amps and lego them to discover pairings. Those that spark joy consistently. I keep them.
Yes - my battery does not discharge when the DAP is idle. I do not hear any interference when using the potentiometer to adjust the volume. The noise in the left channel, which I noticed at the beginning of playback when I did not use the player for a long time, has disappeared. These are early conclusions after 2 full discharges and charges.
As a precaution in case it happens again, maybe try to set the volume limit in the Audio settings to something you know you won't normally go over, e.g. 50.

For those of you who own the Large Miter clamshell-design carrying case for DAP+IEM, do you know if the DX340 (with it's case) can fit inside properly? The DX340 with its leather case does sound like its a bit too wide at 3.25 inches considering the Maximum Digital Audio Player Size in terms of the width for the Miter carrying case is 3.07inch.

After some thought I have decided to focus on my guides and finding more tweaks. Anyone is free to join me in this pursuit. IT was either do this or leave the site completely. I have the IEM I love and DAP I love so I do not need anything else - hence really don't need to be on this site anymore for my own needs. I will NOT be posting in this thread again. I will post new guides and updates to my thread and @Whitigir 's so still trying to help and available to the community.
To say anything that is not positive/different POV in this thread and have some go up in arms about it is not something I have the patience to deal with. If you have any questions about guides or need help you can PM me or post in my/ @Whitigir thread. If our paths do not cross again I wish you all the best of luck. Remember enjoy the music always.
For the record that title you see in my profile is not something that I asked for. It was given to me by a lead Admin in recognition of my work. Personally titles mean nothing to me. We are all human beings and no one is better than anyone else. I would ask it to be removed except that it is promoting an awesome DAP that everyone should at least try if not buy.
As I mentioned in a previous post, I personally experience one persistent issue/bug with the current firmware. After swapping the AMP15 card with the AMP14 card, 2 out of 3 times when I press play (after a cold boot) there is no sound until I increase/decrease the volume. Others have reported something similar when switching between LO and PO. I would not be surprised if the two were related. Hope @Paul - iBasso is reading this (probably next week), as I would love to see this solved.
