I just downloaded the ADPAPPCONTROLL app and am ready to deBloat. Thanks for all the effort you've put in to figuring it out and posting it for the rest of us. 2 Questions: 1. Does this require the Pro Version? 2. Can all of these command be copy & pasted into the console or is this a one at a time procedure?

No need for Pro version. Copy and paste line by line is how I tested some of them. I tried copying a few lines and it errored out. I will be doing the Dx320 and Dx260 next. If you want practice you can do your 320 as soon as I put up that list which has over 100. Maybe tomorrow if I have time I will do 320/300 next.

Listening to some tracks I have not yet on 340 and still can't believe what I am hearing. This DAP has not stopped amazing me. Wish I still had Kse1200. This would be the ideal DAP as Kse1200 is the most detailed IEM I have ever heard but did not have the right dap to make the most of it.

I updated the firmware this morning, I don't hear any difference in signature(still analogie) but I hear a difference in imaging and sound stage (even more precise and wider).
Still the best dap I've ever heard

I will experiment with what you suggest. All the modules I have disabled do not cause any issues. I have all those disabled in my 340 and works perfectly. I was able to reduce ram usage by 200mb. I just bought another Dx340 to use as spare and to do experiments on. When my Dx260 finally sells I would have only one DAP so getting another 340 made sense. I will only buy Ibasso DAPs. Also won't have to swap Amp cards. Just use my other 340. I am happy to have your help with my guides. You should copy and paste that post and put in my optimization thread as it will get lost in this thread. I may create a thread just for 340 optimization discussions. We are a community so we can all work together. I am no expert and there are a lot of smart people on here. I have more things I want to try and will when I get other 340 by end of the week. I will use an app to actually measure performance of the OS/DAP. Sound of course can't be tested by an app. Our ears are the best for that.

Once I get my 2nd 340 I am going to compare both head to head as it's on the new FW and will report my observations.

It has battery bypass so you can use plugged in all the time as long as your charger is capable of providing enough power. This is an iBasso first.

Ibasso will have D17/R2R based DAP and you will be able to replace battery yourself. 3k and you can't do that in the Hiby. No thanks. Will wait for ibasso. From 320 experience first Amp card will likely be the "worst" one. This DAC has great potential and filters/harmonics can be tweaked more based on our feedback. For me I love it how it is now and put my money where my mouth is.

No. If you want R2R wait for ibasso. We do not even know how the 340 will change with Amp cards that are coming and any firmware tuning tweaks that can be done. It's still a baby. By the end of the year we will know much more.

And ofcourse the battery replacement (great feature) , after years the rs8 becomes an expensive brick if the battery is dead (ofcourse you can get hiby replace the battery but this will cost you a dime)
