Those will be the only DAPs I will own for a very long time as I will only buy iBasso. I don't want a MAX that I have to use 2 power adapters to charge etc.

Good. You are making me feel better about spending money on something that will last forever anyway lol. IT just engages me like nothing else has ever. Plus I will have a 340 to play around with for optimization etc so I can add more stuff without worry about not having DAP to always listen to. Call it a development DAP.

For any experts out there I am attaching the log file from my attempt at accessing the partition manager using the IMG FW for DX340. I suspect there is something wrong with firehouse but if anyone has any suggestions fire away. As soon as I can root I will share the link to IMG FW. I can access DX260 with no problem and never had this issue before ever. I am using latest version of QFIL and driver. DAP is detected with no issues. I will try this with the DAP I just bought when I get it that has new FW already on it.

Jokes aside, they are all a little more noisy with all three or in this case 4 connected to chargers DC in general. Right now battery and have the DC in with 5V into the open Plus box

You'll be surprised how portable they stack on the go, throw em in a hoodie the DX+PRO

Speaking of Amp16 and Dual JAN Pentode 6418 tubes. Some people was asking if it is Single ended, and would need 4 tubes for true balanced out.

Well, not necessarily. If it was implememted as input stage like NunChaku or amp14, then it can be true balanced amplifier with the output balanced differential stage by opAmps.

Here is Nunchaku blocks. I am sure Amp16 will be similar...except those DAC blocks ofcourse...and those anode/fillament supplies may be different as well

Ibasso , always does amazing job, not just great. They are the first to utilize electrolytic capacitors to tweaks and tunes on the amp modules for portable players. Especially the MAX series, and sometimes they even release modded amps.

The amp15 is Ibasso intentions for the 340 to be. Personally, myself ? I am a tinkerer, I do want to tweaks and tune it, but that is just my personal preferences , and just to be different. The reasons why I dont go crazy on modifying anymore is because Ibasso is doing such wonderful jobs, there is no need to go extremely complicated on mods and risk damaging modules, simply save the expenses and wait for next modules releases....unless you have $$$ to waste away lol.

I think they went above and beyond with Amp15 compared to the 320 Amp cards. They have come a long way in a short amount of time. I was just curious given your past experiences. Is the consensus that the 320 modules don't work that great in 340?

Except amp14 . But I would be saving for Amp16 if tubes is what I wanted in a module. You can not deny the DC-in feature on the next gen modules....the amp beyond 15

People keep asking me for it so here it is. This are all the commands you can copy and paste into console of AdbAppControl: https://adbappcontrol.com/en/ I have all these disabled on my 340 and no issues. Note BT is disabled and I have another KB app installed. You do NOT need root. You must enable Developer mode by tapping build until it says you are a developer and then enable USB Debugging in developer options to use app. Only works in Windows PCs but you can disable all these on DAP itself.
