Tried a few IEMs and headphones but these were the most interesting. I tried to find more information about them but I only came across one source where the members dismissed it based off of the graphs.

Anyone know the size of the analogue charger plug?

Thanks rickles. 👌

To whoever posted before about maxing out volume on gain I and dropping DAC volume to compensate, either you listen VERY LOUD or have really hard to drive IEM's! 😅

Think I'll have to put a small dot on the volume wheel or I'll need to drop volume to zero each time I power up, a small notch / line / dot whatever would have been a good idea ibasso!

I tried to do this a few times. Unfortunately, I couldn't keep them on long enough to crtically listen. 😁

OK, so 1. I'm blind, there is a notch on the wheel and 2. I can use gain I with max vol comfortably using mango / red book with DAC at 90. Tidal through UAPP was a defo no go even at 83. Having a little play about with it this morning with a coffee, looks like I've settled on gain II for now.

For those lucky enough to have PB5 in the house, does PB5 add depth?

It was me who suggested this. I'm addicted to the DX320MAX with this setting. I've never listened to music as much as now! It's crazy.

Someone mentioned IEMs, and I think IEMs should be thrown out of conversation when talking about this specific setting. MAX was designed to power the most power-demanding headphones, and I'm sure there are some power-hungry IEMs out there, but most of them have high sensitivity and are very easy to drive—making them unfit for this specific setting.

The number of IEMs/headphones that you can use with min. gain + max. volume is going to be very limited. This said, if you do happen to own something that doesn't get too loud, you should be able to hear how much of a difference it makes.

I got really fed up with the Prestige LTD stock cable (it's a nice enough cable, but with 4-pin connection clip at the terminating end that easily comes off or wobbles when on the move impacting sound) and splashed out for the Effect Eros S Anniversary cable (4.4 termination). I'm curious to see how it synergizes with the 320Max too. So far the Prestige LTD's balanced (very lightly U-shaped) signature off the balanced PO of the 320Max could do with a bit of lower bass emphasis (bass is controlled, fast and articulated but lacks in thickness) and some mid-vocal boost, while retaining its already ample highs and soundstage. Anybody else's had this cable, please chip your views in.

Don't you lose "bits" when you lower the digital volume? (not saying, it's audible or anything)

I keep volume at around 90 on digital and use the analog volume control.

Just bought one today. Sounds amazing! Im upgrading from a Fiio M15. I've been demoing an SP2000 for a week now and this dx320 max beats it handily.

Looking for a different case. Not fond of the tan leather case.

Yes the internal storage is EXTREMELY slow.. was trying to copy around 90gb and it was telling me 2hrs... so i cancelled it lol
Having same issue. It would sometimes cancel on its own. I eventually finished transferring but when I checked total files, I'm missing about 5%
