Since I'm seeing 300 max / 320 max cases I assume those two are the same size? I see some cases for 300 max only so maybe not updated.

Edit: 320 is 1mm taller. Volume knob is also slightly closer to the edge. 300 will fit 320 but not necessarily the other way

Just transferred files to internal storage. I think my SD card isnt very good. I hear veryyy slight improvement with internal storage. I only notice it when really focusing on background microdetails.

I like the one with the strap but it's for 300 max. I'll request to make 320 max version

the 300max case fits the 320max perfectly fine.

Ive decided to go commando. I'm glad there's included protector and it fits the rear too. The unit looks and feels luxury without the case. Matches my cable and other stuff on the table too! I'll just carry it with microfiber when moving around the house.

I will be borrowing a mini XLR to 4.4mm cable this weekend to use with my Empyrean. Im suuuper hyped to hear how it performs with the DX320max. I already sold my amp and XLR cable. Although I was able to acquire an upgrade 6.3mm cable to connect to my RME.. the Empy is just not the same but perhaps the DX320max can bring it back to life then I might as well keep the headphones

Bummer. My external battery charger does 9v and 15v but no 12v. Tried the 12v cable and it's only outputting 9v. The charger for it does 12v though and the cable is properly outputting 12v so I can hide the stock dc charger back in the box.

Browsed through the first 45 pages. I think thats enough reading for the day. Found some valuable info like DSD filter setting affecting the sound and that many folks like their headphones with this DAP, which makes me even more hyped for tomorrow when I borrow a cable so I can play my Empyrean with the dx320max.

The DAP fits in my pants but it's too big for gardening. My dog is out for 10 day rental so haven't tried walking out with it yet. Overall, moving around the house is actually not so bad!

Was considering a SP3000 but in the past I have found A&K to be pleasant enough, but rarely exciting. I get 'exciting' more with the house sound of devices from Cayin, but not keen on the N8ii nor wanting to shell out for a N30LE. The breadcrumb trail has led me to this thread, and on paper at least, the DX320Max looks to be pretty much all I look for in a transportable DAP. It looks to be authoritative, and with a fast, exciting sound I usually associate with Cayin. Pretty annoyed I missed out on Damz' sale of this very unit yesterday, hoping another comes up used as here in the UK these are retailing for £3K. Likely pairing will be a Annihilator 2023.

I'm getting delayed about 0.5sec sound when using as desktop DAC which makes it not suitable for gaming :frowning2:

Yea this is an issue with most DAPs. The only ones I've had no lag with are Lotoo ones, and the non-android-based Hiby R3-II.
