@twister6 Thanks and appreciate you as aways, Alex. Knowing we all hear differently and if 320MAX's treble isn't as bright or more intense than N8ii, that would be more than enough for me edge closer to adding another MAX.

Did you say you tried 320 and you didn’t like it ? If you didn’t like the DX320, then I don’t think I would try to convince you on 320Max

The N8ii has the most peaks of trebles from ROHM itself, non of Ibasso has it, and the 320Max-Ti just brought it to perfections in my opinions

Hey Vince, thanks for your impression and helpful as always. Ja, surprisingly it took me a year of N8ii ownership to find the treble peaky, LOL. Another is more likely my shift in DAP signature, after extensively hitting all the TOTL DAPs from iBasso, HiBy, Cayin and Shanling – I've settled in with R2R / discreet-like natural detailed tonality.

To the few that have already been able to listen to the 320max, I wonder how it compare with other TOL DAPs like SONY DMP-Z1 or the A&K SP3000 which was on my list to replace my SP1000 +A&K AMP.

Also, is wifi streaming possible ? QOBUZ or TIDAL ?

USB-C only charges the digital section.

There is a dedicated AC adaptor to charge the beefier analog section.

I can confirm right now after plugging in a USB C that only the dac portion is charging

Oh never mind, it is a bug in MangoOS. When I switched to AndroidOS, my analog now dropped to 45% and digital is 99%

So you are saying all you need to do is plug in the USB C? I would make sure about that, since the analog batteries are a little over 8 volts. So both batteries on the screen show charging?

Vince, wasn't there a dual output PD charger either you or John (@jamato8 ) used with MAX300? This way you can use a single wall charger, connecting both, a regular 5V usb output for digital side and 18V PD output for 12V DC input (with a proper usb cable and corresponding DC connector).

I was just about to buy a DX320 with maybe a Cayin C9 then the Max pops up so I now can't decide what to do! I'm also struggling to find a full spec list for the Max so am hoping someone here might be able to help.

My two questions are, does the 320 Max have a built in PEQ and how might the 320 Max compare with a DX320/C9 combination in terms of sound quality.

Back in the day, i opted for the 3Max over the DX300+C9 combo, if that helps haha!
