I was just about to buy a DX320 with maybe a Cayin C9 then the Max pops up so I now can't decide what to do! I'm also struggling to find a full spec list for the Max so am hoping someone here might be able to help.

My two questions are, does the 320 Max have a built in PEQ and how might the 320 Max compare with a DX320/C9 combination in terms of sound quality.

Eagerly looking forward to more reviews and first impressions from those of you lucky enough to have experienced the Max!

I'm still struggling to find a way to use my N8ii and C9 while portable and it's just too unwieldly. I can't imagine how to combine it with the Max on the go.
Sadly the only suitable case I've ever seen is that Van Nuy's one that's sold out and I can't find anywhere.

i’m not sure which case you mean but for the size of c9 i think it’s the d892. there are some on ebay (shipping from japan)

Vince, wasn't there a dual output PD charger either you or John (@jamato8 ) used with MAX300? This way you can use a single wall charger, connecting both, a regular 5V usb output for digital side and 18V PD output for 12V DC input (with a proper usb cable and corresponding DC connector).

Yes, I did use one like that , but I am thinking May be I want a power bank this time ?

Thanks for your reply! I'm interested in a comparison between the standard DX320 with the C9 versus the 320 Max by itself. I can't imagine pairing the 320 Max with the C9!

I have tried what possible with c9 , and I gotta say that I rather be using 300Max Ti, or better yet 320Max, unless you crave dual Korg tubes then you have only 1 option

Waiting on MimicCables. Last i've heard they haven't even been notified yet when they will be getting them in.

I’m also waiting on them. I emailed Paul and asked if he knew when they’d be getting their stock (because they didn’t really give me an answer when I asked) and he said it should be soon. So I’m assuming they’re en route.
