My player drained fully overnight. Any idea why the battery drains when idle in Mango OS but not in Android OS? I need to turn the player off overnight if in Mango OS to prevent battery drain. The battery doesn't drain much at all when idle in Android OS and I can leave the player on all the time.

Android has sleep mode. As far as I know, the Mango OS does not. It is a stripped down to be just for music. I always turn my players off when not in use unless hooked up to the charger.

The only ear tip I'm using these days is the JVC spiral dot...Widens the stage, depth, and height even further on the Monarchs.

I was using Final E series and sometimes SpinFit but the JVC Spiral is a perfect for the Monarch MKII's and 7hz Timeless as the JVC spirals are meant for large diameters. I couldn't agree more about the JVC's with the Monarchs. Still using the Final E series on my Meze Advar's and Moondrop KATO's though.

I do wish they gave you 2 different sizes for the price like SpinFit but large seems to be my size. Wouldn't mind trying a size down but they are like 25 bucks for s set of 4 (2 pair, same size).

As for me, other than this last weekend (for testing), when using an external amplifier, I use the coax out on the top of the player. To my ears, it sounds fantastic!
I've always wondered what the real point of having a coax out on an DAP is really for. Option's are always great, don't get me wrong but I've been hooking up the DX320 with the 11.2 amp using the 4.4mn (set to LO) to dual XLR cable directly to my amp and a 3.5mm to dual RCA cable directly to my amp with the AMP13 card from the left (not middle) 3.5mm port.

Wouldn't using coax make the DAC in the chain, in my case a Geshelli Labs J2 or iFi zen 2, do the digital to analog conversion and not the DX320 is that scenario?

Coaxial output is for people who need to use the dap as a transport to another DAC, usually a desktop.
It is a nice option to have (together with the USB output) because modern DAP are great as digital transports.

Not sure if anyone in the US is interested but Audio46 just got a bunch of Miter cases for the Z2 and A2. I ordered a black one. Not sure when I'll actually get my preorder from there, but I figured might as well have the case. I also ordered a Miter large storage case for DAP's IEM's. There's only 2 of those left now.

That's seems very intriguing. I just wonder if the DX320 will fit in the middle compartment. Looks like an A&K DAP in the pic, which I believe is smaller then the DX320.

I ended up ordering one of these but still have a return windows. Fits my DX320, 3 pairs of IEMs (in cases) , ear tips,. MMCX removal tool, My FiiO TWS adapter (newer model but discontinued due to DAC used), my FiiO BRT5 2021 and some USB cables. The audio case can easily hold 2 pairs of IEMs. The timeless case (silver metal case) feels like it could be run over by a car and still be fine so might try to fit my Moondrop KATO's and timeless in one case so that would cover all 4 pairs of IEMs I own.

Thanks, I should have caught up on the thread as it was discussed already. Personally I just use a 4.4mm to dual XLR or 3.5mm to RCA cable to run directly into my S.M.S.L SA400 amp.

I've slightly been debating the S.M.S.L D300 DAC. Mainly because it uses the same ROHM BD34301EKV DAC that the DX320 uses but there is more to the equation then just the DAC used. Many desktop DACs using the same ESS DACs can sound quite differently so I'm not sure it would have the same magic sauce the DX320 has.

I think you're on the wrong thread.

I received AMP13 today, wow! in one word : ADDICTIVE :L3000:
I prefer the left plug after some tries, enough power for me even in medium gain.

The whole album sounds great with amp13 but this tune...:scream:

Great song. I wish Neutron player played ISO files but I highly recommend this song also. Obviously the bass line but when the guitar comes in, made the hairs on my arms stand up the first time I heard it on the AMP13 :)

I use it because my home stereo has coax input, and I have the cable for it. Unless I go from 3.5mm on either amp 13 or amp11.2 (which is not true LO) I would need to order a special cable because my stereo doesn't have balanced input (from amp 12). For me the coax connection is the cleanest output available to me ATM... :)

Funny thing is that Neutron indeed DOES play ISO. It just doesn't find it when scanning. If you navigate by folder, you can play it that way. I have a few Herbie Hancock albums that I have yet to take the time to convert from ISO, but I can play them this way. Why the dev never bothered to add this functionality is beyond me. :)

BTW! If you want to convert them, you can use this free app to do it. I have used it, and it works great.

Thanx for the update on the tips for the Monarchs! Will try JVC Spirals.

Neutron does play iso files fine.

Hmm... It's an SACD ISO and I tried opening it with Neutron but nothing happened (which may have been me not waiting long enough for it to load).

I'll try again later. Music apps just seem to be hit or miss when it comes to SACD ISOs so I assumed Neutron wasn't doing anything. Also going to look into that utility @RIGATIO posted to convert the ISO files also I used Solid Explorer for the Android file manager, might try a different android file browsing app also. What's funny is Mango Player doesn't even show up as an option when browsing music apps using Solid Explorer. Thanks!
