Hi friend, thanks for your recommendation, the only thing I did was disconnect it from the battery and it came back normal, but I would like to know how to reset it to factory settings since I updated and did not delete data hehe
Copied this from Internet. Might be what you want?

To perform a factory reset on an iBasso DX260, hold down the volume down button and the power button simultaneously for about 10 seconds until the screen displays a confirmation message indicating a factory reset is in progress; then follow the on-screen prompts to complete the process.

Key points to remember:

  • Button combination: Hold down both the volume down button and the power button.
  • Duration: Hold the buttons for approximately 10 seconds.
  • Confirmation: The screen will display a message confirming the factory reset.

Important considerations:

  • Data loss:
Performing a factory reset will erase all user data and settings on the device, so make sure to back up any important information beforehand.

  • Check manual:
Always consult the user manual for your specific iBasso DX260 model for the most accurate instructions on performing a factory reset.

Yes, it is a tough decision. For example, if you like warmer, fuller sound, then N7 should be a better choice but even it is more expensive, it is no way comparable with detail, cleanness of DX260. Again, DX260 amp is not bad at all ... in fact, it is one of most powerful DAP at its price range (I found that it is even more powerful than iFI Gryphon - not based on spec, but AB comparison). However, if you are looking for more colourful, fun sound (which could mean different things to different people) out of the box, then it may not fully satisfy you.:)

p.s. Btw, I also own a Sony WM1AM2 ... in my opinion, don't expect to get the 'best' sound from just one integrated device. Just like the old days when I was listening to Hifi, separated DAC, pre-amp, power amp almost always give better sound than an integrated amplifier.
Hi, I have a wm1am2 too, I really hate the slow response, and significantly lack of power when I trying to use some headphones, do you think dx260 will be a good "upgrade" from it?

I know 260 is cheaper but sound is not defined by price...

I do try dx320 before (with default AMP), the sound stage is definitely wider than 1A but I feel dx320 loss some warm vibe which I like on 1A, and I try fiio M23 too, but it sounds so boring...

how do you feel between 1AM2 and dx260?

and when you use dx260 as a DAC on Windows PC, is there any lagging issue?

Ok, wm1am2 and dx260 have quite different sound profile. I am not too sure what do you mean by wm1am2 is "slow", are you talking about the overall response of the device? To be honest, this bother me little and almost none of the DAP in the market is comparable to latest smartphone in terms of speed.

For sound, wm1am2 gives warmer, fuller sound ... treble is not bright at all ... and lack of power (depends on what IEM you are using). Actually if you are looking for upgrade but with similar sound profile, you may take a look of Cayin N7.

Dx260 gives much cleaner, resolving, neutral sound instead. Out of the box w/o using any external headphone amp, it is also a lot more powerful than wm1am2 (way more I would say). Even after 200+ hours usage, I still found its treble is a bit too bright for some of my IEMs and cables (only some). To me, dx260 is definitely an upgrade from wm1am2 but sound profile is different. If you prefer warmer, more analog sound, dx260 may not be your cup of tea. I picked dx260 as I was thinking to have a highly resolving, silent and neutral source, then I can tune other components (headphone amp, cables, IEM) to get the sound profile I like.

My current setup is dx260 + XD05 Pro with Burson v5i opamp. With this setup, dynamics is way way more than wm1am2 alone, but sometime treble is still too bright (again, it depends on IEM and cables). Unfortunately wm1am2 does not have LO - using PO to connect to external amp still works but definitely not ideal.

Thanks for reply, now I have interesting on N7, but the price maybe a issue😅

I'll looking for a chance to try dx260, hope I can found it in a local shop.

FYI I connect dx260 to another headphone amp which is a 10 years old VentureCraft Vantam with muse02 opamp, the sound with this setup is much warmer and no treble sparkle, but at the same time having high resolution and dynamics. So, that’s exactly the strength of dx260, it performs DA conversion extremely well without adding too much color and it produces a very clean output in LO for further amplification.

Again if you are looking for a DAP which you will listen to directly most of the time then you need to find a DAP with timbre suitable to your taste.

I faced similar issues with Cayin N7 as WM1AM2. It is too smooth and rather dark. DX260 is much more resolving, more transparent, more dynamic, more spacious, more holographic staging. The only aspect N7 has going for it is the full and natural midrange, while DX260 is slightly neutral in comparison, but even then, not unnatural at all.

Is anyone still experiencing Gapless issues after upgrading to the latest firmware? I've shared my logs and informed Paul, but the iBasso support team cannot reproduce the issue. I wonder if I'm the only unlucky outlier or if some of you are in the same boat.

I don't notice any. Is it all the time or certain albums? Did you do a factory reset?

It happens all the time. I've performed a factory reset on three separate occasions. I forgot to mention that the issue occurs in pure Mango mode.
Hi

Although I haven't experienced a problem directly with gapless play in pure mango I did at one point think that it may contribute to the snipping off the last few seconds of the last track of any album played whilst using pure mango.

I have raised this twice with Paul who said that it was being added to the list for the software team to investigate.

This was a while ago

Sadly the fault has yet to be rectified

I work around the issue by using the continuous play mode therefore there is no last track to be cut short

I would urge you to play about with play modes it may help as all else appears not to have worked

It's such a shame that the various issues in pure mango ( another one is the incorrect playing of tracks in album order which may be down to track tags however the same albums play correctly on Android mango so why not pure mango)

I will persist with pure mango as to me it sounds the best.

Good luck with the gapless issue

Just leaves the problem that albums with the same name but different artist and year still end up together as one in the Album list.
I'm starting to really like the DX260! However, the Album merge is an annoying issue. And I also think the space on the big display is not used well. It would be so easy to throw in additional information like release year...

Anyway, I was wondering if there is some way to mount the microSD in the DX260 in macOS? The DAPs I used previously would just connect via USB and then mount the microSD in macOS so I could access it via Finder. Now I have to remove the microSD card, put it in an adapter dongle and then plug it into the Mac instead of just using the TB3 cable that charges at the same time... Yes, when I connect the DX260 it says "USB file transfer turned on".

Any help is appreciated!

How are you friends, how are you, I hope you are very well. The reason I am here is to know if any of you have had this problem after updating to the latest firmware version. What happens is that before going to sleep I took a photo of the battery percentage and it was 78%, now when I turn it on after a few hours it shows 72% and this was out of nowhere, when I restart it it showed 74% and when I restart it it shows 71%, and then what I did was put it on the PC because some things were going to happen and when I realized it already had 79%, it is somewhat confusing but I hope you understand me and I would appreciate it and you help me solve it, thank you, attached photos.

how long have you had the DX260? It's probably just a minor Android/software glitch: my DX300 does it sometimes but waits for the actual battery level to catch up before resuming normal displayed useage. if it's a new unit, just play and drain the battery as normal a few times and it will settle down eventually. In other words, enjoy the DX260 and don't worry about it.

Hi friend, thanks for your prompt response, I really appreciate it. I have had the ibasso dx260 for about 4 months, it is brand new, and the truth is I am a little worried because this happened after this update, but I will take your advice and do it to see what happens.
