Really good review George. agree with the 'lively' sound especially. I'm reallyliking that for rock and progressive/psyc stuff. The bass is really exceptional.

It's deep but still extremely textured? But you can tell different types of bass tones very easily. Like Jazz vs Ric ect. It's not fuzzy or mushy either.

Such a live, invigorating sound, i have to admit that while the L& P6PRO is prob the best sq ever audiophile wise, it never gave me the same excitement as this.
Haven't had time to listen that much or compare, but for now i don't feel the need,
Just juicy, deep bass luscious gusto

Try it with AMP8 and up everything! But I do like the stock amp very much.

Folder Play:
To enable the folder play function, tick the Folder Play, then select either the order play mode or loop play mode. After a full media scan, or rescan the library, you can go to Directory and select a song under a folder. After this folder is played, the DX240 will play the next folder.

Probably the full media scan is key here to get it to work.

And still m11 + for me seems to have less but tighter and quicker bass. Or it is how i remember because listened these daps at different time. And 240 for me better with less bassy iems and m11 + with more. This way final sound becomes more balanced. If only 240 was so detailed like m11 plus and so musical and easy going like it is now, then perhaps could be endgame tuning.
