IBasso abandoned this thread unfortunately.
I remember when 220 was released, f/w updates for the 200 came after several Months, almost along side w/ a 220 update.
i don't need to brag ( ok , just a little, Lols) i sent an email linking the software request thread specifically for the 220.
The mainland Holiday will surely cause some back log.
This will take some time, and could be the swan song firmware update and very hopefully the very best f/w update for the 220...

Probably too busy, and whenever Ibasso is busy, there are good things to come . FE, dx300, new players, modules...etc
This is a good thing. patience will be indeed a virtue here, DX180? amp12t on nano tubes? perhaps...

Well - updated to the new FW last night...

@Paul - iBasso there are a couple of bugs I have found right away (yes - I performed a factory reset after the update and rescanned my card):
1) Mango Mode - under Artist listings once you select an artist with multiple albums the album art is not aligned and separated the same as the Album Title and Artist text to the right - it's a visual annoyance more than anything else
2) Mango Mode - select Album navigation then select the upper right icon for Artwork View the album art does not show up if you scroll down several screens. Click the Artwork View icon to go back to the list view and album art is not displayed. Toggling between and scrolling up and down does not correct the display issue - going to the very top of the listing will show some of the album art but scroll down a few screens and its missing.

Might be rolling back to the prior FW even though these are both cosmetic things - nothing in this FW that makes me want to stay with it so far...

I had an email exchange with Paul just before this update was announced and released and when I asked about the integration of the Alphabetical Scroll Bar option, that apparently was included with the DX300, he said it was not included with this update (sadly confirmed). Hoping it will come in the next release along with menu navigation position retention through all menus and across power off/on - but "I ain't holding my breath" as the saying goes.

Anyone else?

Cheers,
Tim

I have sent few weeks ago (4-5) an email to iBasso. In the reply they confirmed their plans to release soon for both DX220 models.

So it's coming out very soon...

@Paul - iBasso there is another bug with the newest FW that was not there in the previous version:

Mango Mode - scroll position is not retained. When you navigate to a song via All Music, Album, Artist, Album, or Genre and play that song then click the My Music icon (upper left 3 bars) then Back (<), Back (and one more Back for Genre) the list is scrolled to the very top instead of retaining the current highlighted position on the screen.

Adding this to the other items noted above - I rolled back to 1.17.256 last night. None of these problems there.

Cheers,
Tim

@Paul - iBasso I update the v1.18 FW for DX220. Things seem fine on Android OS. However, on Mango OS, after I rescan my SD card and manually add all playlists, there is no songs in all playlists. This is very strange because on Android still recognize all my songs and playlists. Could you please help with issues:
1- How can I fix this issue "no song in the playlist on Mango OS" ?
2- Is there anyway/ function for Mango OS to add Playlist automatically when it rescans the storage/SD card without manually added. Currently my SD card is 512Gb with 94 playlists on and I have to manually add them back everytime the SD card is removed.
3- One more issue I notice is the scanning speed on Mango OS is rather slow on SD card. Should be at least 3 times slower than previous Mango OS FW.

Thank you.
Leo
