Anyone having problems with Mango?

I find that there is a delayed response at times when functions selected and several album art cover jpg files are not read. The files are ok as they are displayed in Android and on my other non-iBasso player. I tried replacing the file in the SD card but Mango is not reading it ? Any thoughts?

So Paul just emailed me back and confirmed:

"Using the balanced cable we send that is for burn in, will do the entire circuit including what is the single ended section, since the single ended part is taken from the balanced circuitry."

So there you have it. Color me corrected !

I am also confused about the Mango player within Android vs The Android player selected with the power hold To Mango. The album art shows up within Android Mango player but not when booting into stand alone Mango OS??

The mango OS to bypass android needs some tweaking. I'm sure there will be some improvements in the next firmware.

Yes it is - 2.5mm balanced with the DX220.

Wow, you paid a lot. My Samsung Select 512 GB cost $98.00.

Which is about 87 euros. Without sales tax I assume. VAT is generally around 20% in Europe, so that 87 euro card ends up costing about 105. So basically, excluding tax, the prices are pretty much identical.

Half of the balanced circuit, I’m guessing. So no is the simple answer.

According to what Paul said it will burn-in the entire circuit - so should be case closed that the provided cable takes care of the DX220 + the AMP1 MKII module.

I wanted to know if using SE as standard burned balanced as well. As I don’t want to use the burn in cable I want a natural burn-in.

Sort of like a free upgrade for the next 40-200 hours

Got it now. From Paul's explanation the single ended output is taken from the balanced circuitry so listening to single ended would exercise the balanced part as well.

Does that make sense?
