Do you use ISP Reduction checked or unchecked. Just did some Tommy and sounds edgy for some reason, distortion that isn't in the 16/44.
Oh, and do you get artwork to show up?
You just install it on the Mac so it can then be used to transfer files to the DX but I don't use it for the card (while in the DX) and only for the internal memory.Do i need to install that on both device?
Done sir! Thanks a lot!You just install it on the Mac so it can then be used to transfer files to the DX but I don't use it for the card (while in the DX) and only for the internal memory.
I uncheck that option. Yes, I got album art to show up but the title is a bit messy, not sure why
Nice! Been waiting for someone to comment on pairing thr DX200 with Auteur. How do you think it handles it? Which Amp?
Portable Bliss!!!
hey buddy, been using AMP1 balanced out and volume at 130, its really loud, havent tried AMP5 thou, but I will be purchasing AMP4 soon, so will post my impressions once I have it. Whatever it is, AMP1 with the Auteur is excellent, still retains the Auteurs smooth, sweet and surpy signature and yet retains all the details. Love it!!Nice! I got the artwork by placing a separate .png file with the work on it in the file. My files have the artwork embedded but it didn't pick it up. Not totally sold on the sound. I wish there were some adjustment to be made to see if it could be refined.I did not do anything special at all, the tracks already have all the artwork and info into it. I think there are a few bars on the left when you scroll down for options on artwork and title.
That will need AuI the Xivero is good, but as you said, no options for different tunes and adjustments. AuI will give better options but that learning curve can be bothersome.I got the artwork by placing a separate .png file with the work on it in the file. Just done an AMP1ti clone (also with Whitigir's TDK noise suppressant sheets) and listening to it right now on a dx150 and it sounds freeking awesome
Had to be a bit imanginative with positioning as I couldn't get the 10v 220uf Toshins, got the larger 16v 220uf Toshins instead. The grey 100uf caps where donated from an AMP8w mod (w = whitigir)
