Hey guys is there any visual clue that Purist is installed? I did it but am not “seeing” it.

I did Oreo, Lurker, then Purist, Lurker.

Go to Android Settings > System > About Tablet

At the bottom under build number it should say: “1.01.006” for Oreo, “Fidelizer” for Purist Rom, and “L-1.13” for Lurker.

Phew fixed, thanks so much for help. I redownloaded the firmware and did it again. That was terrifying!
To do the lurker firmware update, do I do the same thing?

Also buy a new usb c cable. The stock cable doesnt always work with computers in some cases.

Regarding all this talk of Black Gate capacitors and upgrading the AMP8, I've found a possible source of a few Black Gate capacitors.
Not the suggested big 'standard' type, but the PK type.

Would these be suitable for modding the AMP8? Better or worse than the standard BG caps? Better than other alternatives suggested?
And which of the capacitance 'sizes' should I go for?
10V 100uF? (as seen in this link posted earlier https://www.ebay.ie/itm/192165291783?ViewItem=&item=192165291783 )
Any others?

Just wondering whether it's worth getting a few.

Oh, finally, how many would I need?

I've been hearing about black gates and stuff but are they any good? I think they were manufactured a long time ago and I doubt their specs could match new capacitors technology though.

Mine says: 1.0.006-L1.13

So that means Purist didn't stick right? But wait...I put Oreo, Lurker, Purist, then Lurker back on...if I did that...would Fidelizer still show up there?


OK...question...was I supposed to rename Fidelizer Purist sdupdate? I'm lost on how to install it.
