My dap won't get past the ibasxo dx200 reference player screen and then restarts again. I can get in to dap to go to system upfate

I posted this on the DSD512 thread, but thought I’d ask here:

I can’t seem to get Neutron to play native DSD512. It only renders audio if DSD over PCM is set to on. Is there something I’m missing?

Usually, for a Delta Sigma IC chip, the like of ES9028Pros. They will have to split the DSD into multi bit, and so as long as it is multi-bit, it is DOP anyways.

That is why some SD-DAC is capable of DSD512 and some isn’t. It is simply not powerful enough to do that processing. For example, AK4490EQ vs AK4497EQ ?

To be able to process any DSD512, it needs not only great processing speed, but lower noise too. Both Xmos208 and ES9028Pros inside the Dx200 is capable of that :D. The Dx200 is an awesome device

Real Native DSD will remain 1 bit from the source all the way to the low/high pass filter :D...which requires a custom DAC chip or a coded FPGA, and an FPGA for DSP too

Lurker had a post where I think he was saying that you could set DSD to PCM to “off” and gain native DSD playback. However, if i understand you correctly I should just leave DSD to PCM set to “on.” Is that right?

Looking good and nice. Where did you get those BG PK or FK? Do they have the same values? What is the big blue cap BC?).

I am interested in the details of those blackgate , May we know more ? Thank you

I am not the seller but you can find BG here : https://www.ebay.ie/itm/192127482965 . The price is much cheaper than I got......However , I am not sure if it's fake or not .
Below is personal opinion for your reference :
I used BG PK 100uF/10V*6 and Vishay BC 470uF/10V*1 to mod my second AMP8 ; as for sound , me and my friends all agree BG mod AMP8 with DX200Ti sounds like "Jadis"
And the first mod AMP8 is as below , it used Vishay BC 100uF/10V*4 , Vishay 220uF/10V*1 and Nichicon 470uF/16V from AMP1 . It's good enough but not that good as BG mod though .

I can assure you that when it come to coding and software, I am as blind as a bat...lol

I've tried every port and it just fails. But now I can't even open the dap with its old firmware
