great website, you should add more high end IEMs to see what are best macthes accroding to the algorithm

Computers with Thunderbolt 3 can provide 100W, this port from one Macbook, for example, can provide up to 100W. What means you can charge one Macbook Pro 15, what is my case. It's Ibasso implementation/problem.
I've gone through some USB connection tests and believe I've got what you are talking about.
When DX200 is in the USB-DAC mode, it does not request power from USB port of the my Mac laptop so it gets no charge from USB at all - it only uses it's internal battery.
So it behaves like common desktop USB-DAC with the only difference being desktop units are plugged into a power outlet.

I looked initially at the 5th link for AMP1 Balanced.
It seemed to be report with about 20 pages of technical detail.
I imagine there is someone out there who would benefit from this information, and salute your Herculean efforts.
I was wondering though, did you try listening to music on it? It's pretty good you know :)

Not so true. DX200 (XMOS chip, actually) announces itself as a self-powered device, which is true. Then, it's up to the host driver to decide whether to provide power or not.

The funny thing is that my Android tablet, mobile device, provides up to 1A, while I'd prefer not at all. Instead, desktop computer running Windows provides only 450mA even at USB 3.0 port, and, as you said, Mac OS does not power at all :D

I would not know if that detailed reviews are worth to read them all for everyone who owes DX200 and amp1 but I would surely experience with my ears that other amps like amp3, amp4s and amp5 are worth to listen because they produce excellent sounds especially amp4s (sorry I miss amp4 because I do not owe one!)

I can say I understand something, and the results are amazing! By my understanding, iBasso amps can be called "transparent": they keep linear performance on wide range of loads!
