Can you clarify on the similarities or differences between AMP2 and 3? How about volume?

(edit) I bought a Sony MDR-Z1R, and wondering if I should just buy AMP4 just for these headphones. I don't think there is a 4.4mm to 2.5mm adapter that I could use for AMP3, and AMP2 may be too warm sounding / lacking power. I will try with AMP1 and maybe AMP5 in the future. So many choices now lol.

I am using DX200 Amp2 + Continental Dual Mono + Ether C Flow.
I find that the sound is much fuller, with better timbre and is more musical if I source it from "Phone out" as opposed to "Line out" of Amp2.
I thought that "double amping" would have some negative side effects. Surprise....
