Really ? What make it that expensive? I heard Paul repeatedly saying that Titanium is much more expensive than CU

Yup, it costs that much, I am not sure what makes it more ex, maybe extremely limited qty = higher price due to distribution of cost? In any case, its only available to those handful of people who owns them now.

Nope, it is only available to developer or dealers, and I know that @Lurker0 has one as he is an developer for Lurker firmware :D. I think Paul confirmed it before somewhere

Yes, the same price, and SE100 has it advantages of using ES9038Pro in single configuration compare to Dual ES9028Pro in DX200. Even so, the single 9038Pro specifications surpass the ES9028Pro duals on Dynamic range and THD specs. The only thing is that AK as a brand does not support it customer as much as Ibasso. It can not play NativeDSD512, it can not swap out amp modules....it can not drive power hungry headphones like Amp8, and I am certain that it does not have juicy high-end capacitors, power supply, voltage regulators

And implementations are everything
The two reasons that I buy iBasso is the customer service, Paul is excellent to deal with, and the ability to have the play store so I can install anything I want. AK doesn't give you either.

EDIT* I forgot to mention sound. I think iBasso has the best sounding DAPs out there.

Yep, seem to be all gone. That was quick, but it did take longer than I thought it would.

Thank you. I don't think at this time there will be more. It is very expensive to produce. There were 27 made and all numbered. As soon as they were done they were gone. They were 2999 USD. The DX200CuAu is OFC with gold plating and some different parts. I wish I could have been there but it was John and Steve. jamato8 and icefalcon.

What? The DX200AuCu was a limited run of 27 units. The DX200 Ti is coming up. The titanium is much more difficult to machine. The precision facility we are using has it perfected but production takes a while.
Thar ye go. $3k Cu.

Now I need to skip all the reviews of the Ti here so I won't be feeling bad about it...haha!

I know and expected about this much. The idea is that I am very curious about what Ibasso can do when they do it their best, which they are doing and continue to doing so. Hence I am excited to be getting one of the limited run, and will make sure to share my impressions :). The idea is that if they can do it so good, the future products will be full of promises at affordable pricing
