is there any news about new titanium version? Release date, price...etc
I got to play with the DX200ti at CanJam. It sounds different and I love the feel of it. All solid CNC titanium. To me it is futuristic looking and incredibly solid feeling. I want one really, really bad.

Is it heavier?

Mine works absolutely fine with no lag (Mango player).. I'm just saying lol.

I think the key 'take-home point' here is that my experience doesn't invalidate yours, and vice versa :)

But it does seem to suggest that some units may be more buggy than others?
Or if you've done any modding (FW replacements), or switched a lot between Android and Mango, or installed 3rd party software, any or all of these could be contributing factors? Just thinking out loud..
This kind of thought process can hopefully help to maybe identify where the issues might be coming from?
If the same FW works fine on some devioces and not on others - the finding is clear - the quality of the devices is not equal. It seems it is kind of russian roulette. A lot of good features and interesting sound does not make a PRODUCT yet.

Hi, I was helping to man the iBasso stall with all-round good guy @jamato8 :D
If I recall correctly, it was heavier, but not massively so.
Also, my understanding is that it was a prototype, so we can't yet draw any solid conclusions as to how the final product (if released) will be.

Wait... so no news of Amp3/4 and now the buzz word is Titanium? I wonder how will other Amp match Titanium encased DX200. Or because it is exclusive model, you don't get the option to swap amps.

This is mostly the question of expectations. Somebody don't care about half of a second delay after a swipe or a tap, somebody want instant reaction. So, the latter call "a lag" that former either don't care about, or (like me ) understand that this is a delay to better distinguish between taps and swipes.

Bad joke :frowning2:

Hope there's fixed firmware coming out soon
We work on the FW updates every day.

For the DX200ti, it is heavier. jamato8 said it was like military equipment he used to use when in the service. The DX200ti will have the same amp options as the DX200.

I for one am really curious about the Ti "sounding" different. Is it possible? Is there other aspects of the new DX00ti that is affecting sound signature? Normally the case material should be for aesthetics & level of durability.

A new DX200 edition with same crap firmware? I think they should focus on making a good firmware, I don't know think ppl will still have confidence on next iBasso flagship as there are many other better choices in the market now.

I use it every day with no problems on the FW.
