Was listening this evening with DX200Ti, Amp1Ti and MrSpeakers Ether Closed.

What a combination. I love my Hugo's, but this on my lap on the couch was bliss. Even took Ti out of its case to hold properly

Haha, it's funny you should say that. I'm always tempted to take it out of its case to appreciate it but end up leaving it in there.

I actually picked up this case to protect the screen as well. I HIGHLY recommend this case. It has a flap that protects the screen as well. This guy does some seriously nice work!

You guys who love Dx200Ti and Amp8, you have not heard Modified Amp8 with it . Do take @singleended5863 comment literally, it allows music fidelity that I have not observed with other players. But ofcourse I don’t want to sound like “Hype” or encourage any of you to go down the DIY route any further

I AM enjoying it a lot... got a used pair of Tralucent 1plus2.2 a bit ago, terminated in SE, and though I REALLY like them, one terrible side effect of the new arrival is that they pointed out that my DAP collection was sadly inadequate, lol.... gotta love this hobby . X200Ti with Amp7 (only one I've tried, for the moment) allows them to shine , finally.

I still have the WM1Z, an excellent player but the Ti is just plain better, IMO. I also prefer the standard DX200 with AMP4 or 8 and the greater power to drive headphones as a big plus.

I have both wm1z with k-mod and dx200ti with Amp4, amp4s and amp8.

I still find the wm1z to sound a little better.

And when it comes to battery life and heat of the player, wm1z wins hands down.

Hugo paired with AK120ii via optical was sublime But dx200 with amp4s matched Hugo when fed from a MacBook via optical.

I have never had a chance to listen to Sony WM1Z stock or K-mod since it is out of my budget but I am very very happy with DX200TI with mod amp8 and amp4s.

@Whitigir, you've got to help me get an upgraded amp8.

Edit: I installed the V2 firmware of Oreo beta. Now it is at Android 8.1

Lurker's ROM is wiped out. Can I install Lurker Ver10 on top of this V2 beta?
