I'll give that a shot in any case!! Thanks

Has anyone figured out how to load an m3u playlist on the DX200? I haven't been able to figure out the proper formatting. I tried /mnt/media_rw/[folder name] as that's the structure I got when exporting a playlist from the device but I am unable to import with that structure. It just shows a blank playlist. Anyone have any luck?

I just figured out how to get my iTunes Playlists (which are basically normal .m3u Playlists you can find everywhere) onto the DX200. As some of you have already noticed you cant just put your existing playlists onto the DX200, which I only noticed after syncing my iTunes library via isyncr to the dx200. I have seen that people discovered a workaround that involved neutron but for those of you that want to do it manually, it's actually not that hard to do.

the problem in the first place is that the format of m3u playlists the dx200 generates and interprets is different than the usual formats you find elsewhere, so if you hand it a m3u playlist that was for instance created by isyncr or iTunes the dx200 cant read it.

for instance, here's how a m3u playlist exported via iTunes to my Desktop looks like:

#EXTM3U
#EXTINF:188,Parasite (1989) - Venom
F:\storage\iTunes\iTunes Media\Music\Venom\AL 1989 Prime Evil\02 Parasite (1989).m4a
#EXTINF:225,Tribes (1991) - Venom
F:\storage\iTunes\iTunes Media\Music\Venom\AL 1991 Temples Of Ice\01 Tribes (1991).m4a
#EXTINF:152,I'm Paralysed (1992) - Venom
F:\storage\iTunes\iTunes Media\Music\Venom\AL 1992 The Waste Lands\02 I'm Paralysed (1992).m4a
#EXTINF:325,06 Megalomania (1989) - Venom
F:\storage\iTunes\iTunes Media\Music\Venom\AL 1989 Prime Evil\06 06 Megalomania (1989).m4a

if I transfer this playlist via isyncr to the DX200 it will look like this:

#EXTM3U
/Venom/AL 1989 Prime Evil/02 Parasite (1989).m4a
/Venom/AL 1991 Temples Of Ice/01 Tribes (1991).m4a
/Venom/AL 1992 The Waste Lands/02 I'm Paralysed (1992).m4a
/Venom/AL 1989 Prime Evil/06 06 Megalomania (1989).m4a

now here's how the same m3u playlist looks like when you create it on the dx200 on android mango:

/data/media/0/syncr/Venom/AL 1989 Prime Evil/02 Parasite (1989).m4a
/data/media/0/syncr/Venom/AL 1991 Temples Of Ice/01 Tribes (1991).m4a
/data/media/0/syncr/Venom/AL 1992 The Waste Lands/02 I'm Paralysed (1992).m4a
/data/media/0/syncr/Venom/AL 1989 Prime Evil/06 06 Megalomania (1989).m4a

simply put, all I did was copy the playlists created by isyncr that were on the dx200, opened them in notepad and used the replace function to add "/data/media/0/syncr" in front (so for instance replace "/Venom" with "/data/media/0/syncr/Venom", put them back onto the dx200, navigated to the playlists via "directory" on mango and imported the playlists from there, and this worked.

this example uses the internal storage by the way, the path for the external storage / sd card is different, and obviously you'd have to adjust the path so that it points to the folder all your music is stored in.

if somebody needs help feel free to ask:L3000:

EDIT

forgot to mention that the mango playlists are stored in the folder "DX200\Internal storage\ibasso\mangoPlayer\playlist\mango", so I put the edited playlists into there too. you could probably import them from other directories, but I havent tried that so far

i have the normal dx200 with amp1 and amp3 with andromeda. I hear no floor noise nor hisses, regardles high or low gain. But if i'm using android mode with wifi and i am connected to a 2.4 Ghz network then i hear some hisses? i don't know what it is but its audible.
I had the same issue. There is no noise with 5 Ghz wifi or when there is no smartphone near your dx200. Ibasso explains to me it is due to the saturation of the 2.4 Ghz band

Charged up the Ti last night whilst powered off and unplugged it when it reached a full charge. Turned it on this morning and the battery has dropped to 88%
It has Lurkers 2.10.215 installed by previous owner. Wouldn’t have thought this would have anything to do with it though.
Any ideas would be appreciated, thanks

I constantly use it in Mango mode, stock firmware. It switches off after 15 mins of no usage or so, and battery has never been a problem

I agree, Ibasso recommend 5ghz WiFi signals. I don’t use WiFi on it, since I don’t stream anything, and now with Bluetooth DAC/amp, I can stream my Netflix movies just fine to it. So for my usages, I never encountered the WiFi noises

Hey mate, have you tried turning it off and turning it back on again? :p

NB: You know I'm just jealous because you're listening to the DX200Ti and I'm not :D

One of the reasons I switched to Mango OS as well on DX200. Power off time out is a great feature and you can varry inactivity delay. Plus, with Lurkers fw, mango os sounds a little better to my ears, as long as you don't need streaming or wireless.

I am so enjoying my DX200 since getting it about three weeks ago. This is my very first DAP. I just moved up to the AMP3 from the stock and notice more air and body and many other goodness. I'm itching to move up to the AMP7 but I want to experience more with the AMP3 first so that I can hear the differences that the 7 brings. But I guess it also means that I will be comparing the AMP3 in balanced to unbalanced with the AMP7?

And this is only with the iBasso IT03, which is an amazing IEM for it's price. I have it with the iBasso CB14 cable. I am waiting for my first CIEM, 64 Audio N8.

Amp3 is balanced, and so is Amp8

Lol, if only it was that easy. Just had it charged up to full again with it powered off. Turned it on, it’s at 100%, turned it off and left it for about an hour. Just turned it back on and the battery is back to 88%
Looks like I’ll try a factory reset and see what will happen.
Guess I’ll reload Lurkers firmware if I decide I need the play store etc

Amp3 is balanced, and so is Amp8
Yep. I'm using the 2.5 balanced on AMP3 at this time. But I want to go through the experience with AMP7 before moving up to my final amp, the 8. Before getting the DX200, I was going to start getting 2.5 cables but now that I have the DX200 and AMP8, I am leaning towards getting 4.4 cables going forward. I do have a 2.5 to 4.4 adaptor already though. Twister makes a good point that if one is willing to use adaptors that it makes more sense to go 2.5 to 4.4 than the other way around (assuming one plans to bounce around between those two cables).
