In output device select dsd : asio : foo_dsd_asio
in Asio drivers double click foo_dsd_asio and set ibasso
and then set outputs for 44100 DSD512 and so on. Like my screenshot :p
And restart foobar.

Thank you very much, I finally got it.

Did not know that literally mean output as the root output click LOL. Thank you so very much, let’s see if it is any different. I tried to get minimal latency

buffer length 50ms
Usb streaming mode: minimum latency
Asio buffer size: 1024 samples

What is your ?

Low latency can introduce pops and clicks. For music latency matters zero, so you can have rather high buffers. Where it matters is music production, vsts or djing. So I left both ibasso driver settings on default.

I take that the SDM Type A/B/C/D is different simulators ?....ok, I think it means Sigma-Delta-Modulator types. I do like the Type C more, the depth are awesome. Ofcourse I will have to test them all in the future! So far, I have no pops/clicks . Knock on woods

The sound performances now is on similar level of Offline conversions from Xivero. Now, this is real performances.

I gave up Jriver, I compromise my fancy album art, display, spectrum analyzer for Foobar, which is DSD512 on the fly = freaking awesome !!

Can you recommend me an app to remotely control Foobar just like I did on Jriver ? 0_0

I am still getting the distortion and did some experimenting, which left me throughly confused. I rebooted to Mango to see if that would help. For about the first few minutes it was absolutely pristine sound. Then slowly the distortion started to creep into the left side again. I’m at a loss to explain the behavior and don’t know how to resolve it.

I did try a full factory reset but nothing changed in regard to the distortion.

I'm waiting Paul and IBasso, but in the meanwhile If anyone has any thoughts please let me know.

can you share your thoughts of AMP7 vs AMP8?

I just did in IT04 thread, here. Btw, working on DX150 review now, hopefully to be done by the end of the week, and in addition to DX150 will also cover AMP6/AMP7/AMP8 in there...

... and, got DX200Ti loaner for review, so will share my thoughts about it soon
