Well that's the beauty of the DX200 - you get both a standalone purist DAP in the form of pure Mango mode in addition to Android with streaming capability. Have your cake and eat it!

I agree. If they can make pure mango mode much more smoother, that’s a big plus.

Currently, I mostly run mango mode under android system.

I have a question abt digital filter.
Under android mode setting , why does it always revert back to "fast roll off / min" when i off & on player ?
It doesnt change in mango(android) player , just in the main setting under sound & notification.
So everytime i use Tidal i have to switch filter.
Hope to get some feedback from anyone on how to solve the issue. TIA !

I use the Andromeda, Vega, IT01/3 at the moment and they all sound great. Andromeda is probably my favourite with the DX200, very nice pairing.

I can vouch for the synergy of the Vega & DX200 balanced 2.5mm Amp1.

I'd recommend IE800, Dita Truth, IMR R1, ClearTune VS-4, HIFIMAN RE2000, Beyerdynamic Xelento and Dunu Falcon-C
