DUNU New Product Releasing Plan.
Hi head-fiers,

We once published new product information, like DN-20, DN-21, DN-100. However, through marketing in the recent days, we got some suggestion from some HI-Fiers that it could be impropriate to release new product in a short time. These new products might be not well tuned or be released without proper preparation. Therefore, they suggest DUNU to revise and improve some popular products few years ago with leveling up the product quality, efficiency, and sound quality. It’s meant to prove DUNU’s ability of tuning and design now is better than the past. After that, DUNU will move to the next stage to keep developing new products. Through several meeting held by DUNU policy makers, DUNU’s new product schedule and is adjusted as following.

2012
    DN-20
Progress of DN-20 with two dynamic drivers is about 70~80%. We will readjust appearance and sound tendency. Estimated time for publishing is in 2012.

DN-21

About DN-21 with two balanced armature driver unit, we found it has little segment among other earphone products on market. In a meeting, DUNU decides to do something more challenging, “Four” driver unit earphone. Therefore we call off the original plan; redesign it with Four driver unit. Estimated publish time is in 2012.

Great to see so many multi-driver dynamic in R&D. The 4 drivers BA is very interesting too.

Silver wires?

I got the feeling that I'm not going afford one of those anytime soon

The Brainwavz M1 ($40) uses SPC wires, so it might not be too costly, assuming they're SPC too.

If I were you I'd resign from this sharp edge in DN-20. It'll cause pressure in the lower part of the ear, which could be uncomfortable during long sessions.
Nevertheless I'm soooo looking forward to hear DN20
BTW. any chance on detachable cords?

Quad armature - nice! You should chalange x-jays on this one. Is DN-21 going to be 2way, 3way or 4way? It'd be something if it was 4way! Actually first four way universal!

I can't wait to hear these two!

Thanks. The answer is Yes. "Two" drivers in each  side for C60 II.

Thanks for the suggestion. The detachable wire is possible for the future apply. And due to DN-21 is under early stage of deveoping so no futher information to provide. I will keep update the latest news for you.
