Hi guys!
smily_headphones1.gif
I know this is a hybrid and so it's not really similar but has anyone here tried Fitear F111? It has fast, tight bass, too, and clear, good midrange. How does the DN-2000 compare? Is it lightyears better? Reading djvkool's review of DN-2000 I was reminded of some of the qualities I like about the F111 and now I'm tempted to try these. The asking price sounds very reasonable to me.

First of the rank, it is pretty daunting indeed

The title should really be "Looking for Ms. Perfect" because the female vocals sound the best!!!

Great review!

In all honesty I am hearing something a bit different from you. But our music selection is also very different and you are much more experienced than me :)

Maybe something to do with tips?

DN-2000 is in the house!
Seems to be a real improvement from the DN-1000.

Mids and highs are more balanced and refined.
Treble is smoother.
Bass is faster, lesser in quantity but better quality, more textured/detailed.

Less 3D imaging. - not necessarily bad
Less Headstage/soundstage. - not necessarily bad
More intimate overall.
