I bought my DN2K from China with an expensive shipment for $40. So totally I paid around $310. But the sound is Fantastic! It has very good performance in my FIIO X5. I usually listen to classic music and this small earphone just reminds me the sound of DT880, they are so similar.

Theyre still a good buy, SRP of DN2k outside China is 315 USD. Congrats, looking forward for your impressions.

Yes, I know. I have  bought  hundreds of items at taobao and in 2.taobao( for used stuffs). One thing that i dont understand from most Chinese brands is that they set different MSRP price for domestic and international market( cheaper for domestic market) and  they also set different wholesale price for local retailer and international resellers(cheaper for local resellers). If these things wont be resolved, only resellers from China will profit because the world is getting smaller. More people now can buy from taobao.

I mean, additional $30 deduction. It's a open secret. For instance, the official listed price for DN2000 is ￥1798 on Taobao. If you try to bargain the price with that dealer, most likely you can get the price down to ￥1650, which is around $266.

I was going to rip it open and test right now, but the packaging is just absolutely superb, feel bad to rip that out/open without taking proper picture first, so I'm going to wait until tonight and do proper eye candy before I rip that thing open

Got it and I must say, a large upgrade over the DN-1000. Better clarity and more balanced. the DN-1000 has great bass, but it is a little too much at times.

Yeah, the DN-2000 is quite balanced. I like it better because when I listen to the DN-1000 then switch to the HE-500 I find them very bass light, which they are not. 
 
My DN-1000 is for sale if anybody is interested.
