Dunu DN-1000 - Dunu's hybrid IEM - Impressions thread

I think I saw this recommendation earlier in the thread, but I will reiterate it:

Get the Fiio X3.

It seems that others have had success with the X3 and the Dn-1000.  I have used the X3 with the Akg Q701's and it drove them.  If it can drive the Q's, it should do fine with the Dn-1000.

Also, the X3 just sounds brilliant, imo.

(this was a reply to jptj24, but it did not show up as such).

Thanks for lettinge know :) I am currently saving to get the X3. After all, what I had planned if I still had my walkman Z would be amping it, so as to match the impedances. But the X3 looks so good it doesn't even need amping. I'll be sure to post my impressions when I get the X3.

Edit for quote fail lol

And last queation:
I am uncertain about which amp with dac to get, the e07k or the iBasso d-zero. Assuming the price tag is the same, which is better in terms of sound quality, options and matching the dn1000?
Thanks.

I Thinking to cancel the order of DN1000 and reorder with the x3, I asked the mp4nation and there is no cancellation fees.
It cost me $ 369 instead of $389
And 10% discount So $332 instead  $389 for x3 +dn1000

Theres a price difference between them. E0K has more features, display than D-Zero but slimmer than e07k. Soundwise as well e07k can do justice imo.

Ok, just got these and trying them out, and I must say, they get it done and get it done well. I have a set of Aurisonics Rockets coming my way too and will be comparing the 2 sets for sure, but these definitely are better than the Vsonic GR99 I was using.

I am using the black "Comply" tips that were in the bag with the blue and red ones as well as the silver rings to get a bit of space on the insertion depth, everything is great IMO.
