OMW, I thought the 4001 was scrapped, but those look beautiful. I'm even intrigued by the 3001 - fit looks much easier than 2002. But the 4001 is looking good.

So, I'm still using these (DN-2002).. :)
I managed to get the Mee Audio cable to fit the 2002s. :), Just carefully carved away with some scissors. Actually, the cable is the Massdrop one from the PX - but they're practically the same.
Lol, but suddenly I notice they don't sound good with this cable. Maybe because I've been using the upgrade cable...I never rated cables before.

Pity there is no photo from the other side. If the inside is smooth and seamless, then these are likely to be incredible. They always seem to nail sonic signature, and struggle with ergonomics. Hopefully this time they have both flawless.

OK, so this might be old, but i was playing around with the MEE Audio cable that made my DN-2002's sound terrible... turns out it is the cable that is the problem. It sounds awful with all my iems...so I just used it with the P1s thinking that it only really works for them..oh, how wrong I was.
I also had a spare one tucked away (this one only doesn't have the mic, but is otherwise the same). I tried out this second MEE cable on my iems and they don't sound so thin like with the first one. Clearly just a dud cable that first one.
So if you have DN-2002s and need a spare cable, these MEE audio cables should be handy if you're willing to file away a bit of the plastic.

I know it's probably not very relevant to many people at all, but it's good to put the info out there, you never know who's looking to do what.

This is a good review. Too bad I owe the IRS money. Not my fault though. The IRS just doesn't know about the funeral expenses. Anyway. Great review.
