Well not really price-to-performance ratio gears, but a reasonable priced TOL sounding phones.

IMO DN2000 is on par with 846 and DN2000J is on par with K3003. Yes, they are that good.
I've never own a pair of DUNU though. I was waiting for the successor of DN2000J that could possibly out-performs K3003 and sonically play against my UM Mentor and other TOTL CIEMs.

And finally they are about to drop!

You might also want to have a look at the FLC Technology FLC8, in that case.

Yeah I did give the FLC8 a try. Not quite impressed by the filter system. IMO FLC8 is the type of IEMs that will have to sacrifice bass quantity in achieving clarity and transparency.

That's fantastic-I'm really happy for you guys, as well as the rest of us at head fi- it's an exciting time for in-ear lovers. You guys pack such an amazing sound with truly reasonable prices! Your cables can take a tug, scale pretty well with gear, and plenty of customizations to accommodate for individual tastes! That's a great feat in my book! Thanks for catering for us freaks! Lol

That's high praises man: I would find no reason to spill that much on the aforementioned gear. Again, as I await for future impressions, I'm gonna sit back and rediscover my music collection through my dunus!

I'm in love with Dunu DN2000, but I wonder which of them will be an "upgrade", maintaining the same sound profile: clarity, tonal balance, transparency ... Maybe the DN2002? More drivers do not always have to mean that I like better.

Buy an amp like the Alo Rx, I am so loving what they do to the hybrid - faster detailed mid bass, better extension and air, and the perfect timbre (no tingy metallic sound from the BA). I figured it was the better upgrade for me because I'm tired of hunting for something else when it's already this good. This amp builds upon the strengths of the hybrid.

Thank you very much for your reply.
Unfortunately, I can not hear my music at home now. Circumstances force me to use portable combos.

The Alo Rx is a portable amp made for stacking with your player. This is what it looks like.

That said, I'm really excited to see what the DK-4001 can bring to the table.

Impressive line up! I just bought a slightly used DN-2000 last week for only 150 bucks and my, these beasts sound fantastic! I'm basically sold out to DUNUs at this point and with all these upgrades, oh I can feel my wallet is getting nervous and rightly so
