Still Waiting for reviews...
I wish I could review the DK-3001. I'm sooooo bored.
there's one on earphonia ICYMI http://earphonia.com/earphones-iems-ciems/dunu-dk-3001-full-stack-hybrid-energy/
Waiting for Brooko's review
Review just out, with comparisons to the ie800 ($700), RE-600 ($200), IT03 ($260), New Primacy ($300) and CA Nova ($500). I also put in an order for the dual flange Spinfits but they haven't arrived so I'm just using the grey silicone tips, fit fine and sounded well balanced to me, maybe I got lucky. Also if anyone knows how to link specific reviews, please let me know!
Please enjoy my review in the Head Gear section...
What would you buy, it03 or 3001?
My review for the DK-3001 is up
We will be posting up reviews of the DK3001 and DN2002 soon
Just had a brief listen to the DN2002 with spinfits and they are very good.
Sorry for the wait guys - you can find my review on the DK-3001 here
Put simply - it would be one of the best IEMs I've heard this year. Highly impressed!
Nice, thanks for the review. I like the look of that upper mid/lower treble transition as I think that was the main rough spot for me on 2000J. hopefully we can get your impressions & measurements of the 4001 too whenver that comes out.
(btw your test tracks link 404's on the new forum)
Thanks - I'll see if I can update the link to the test tracks
Why is it that my review looked fine last night (I spent hours trying to format it properly), and today the photos don't fit.
This new software sucks - NOTHING is easy any more. You have to spend hours getting the simplest jobs done.
Sorry - needed to get that off my chest.
Nice Review @Brooko
Any comparison with the FLC8S?
DK-3001 better build, better cables, accessories about even. With the FLC8S of course you get the tuning options. Fit and comfort goes to the FLC8S, but saying that, the DK-3001 isn't really bad - just not as good as it could be. Sonically - although the FLC8S is still a very good IEM (especially for the price), I'd take the DK-3001, pay the extra money, and not look back. For my preferences, it really does sound "that good". Most accurate descriptor would be that it is almost a more mid-centric Andromeda. Fantastic extension, and really good balance. May not tick everyone's boxes - but definitely does for me.
@Brooko Can 3001be worn down the ear like flc8s?
