Wanted to know whether the A845 can drive full sized cans or not. I'm interested in the Audio Technica ATH-M50 and i've heard some good reviews about it. They pair well with most of the mp3 players and are easily driven. Would amping it do any better? I've seen in some forums that the A845 has a better SQ from HPO than from the LO of the amp. Any suggestions for good amps with it? And any other recommendations other than the M-50's (easily driven)? P.S: The battery life is not that good. So, full sized cans with the A845, will it work out?

I'd considered getting the iem's but in that price range the M50's are hard to beat SQ wise. I want to listen to them when i'm at home. So it'll mostly be through my walkman or PC. What do you think about an amp with it?

They don't need an amp to sound good. I like mine straight from my iPhone, but they do tighten up with an amp. Everything gets a bit more controlled. Even a simple Cmoy will give you some improvement, but it's not necessary.
