Though they're lacking a little... finesse... present in most audiophile headphones (e.g. detail, balance, control), they're worth $100 for (mostly) one thing only: noise cancelling. Maybe the bass too, but it's still pretty sub-par @ $100.
Why not buy it? Although I voted to stay away from it, since the resale value is not bad, if you buy it you can get a good idea about its sound. It's fancy looking, ok sounding, and has noise cancellation.
Worst case, like what others say, sell it somewhere else.
Eh...I didn't notice the date. Sometimes I wonder how people can search up old threads. Back then Monster was still in cahoot with Beats, now they have been enlightened and left Beats.
