High-end DACs transform the sound of my speakers. It's like I'm listening to a different system with each one. DAC differences are more noticeable for me with speakers. I can hardly stand entry-level DACs anymore. However, it only makes sense to buy a high-end DAC when you have a pretty high fidelity system, and even then, you have to draw the line somewhere. I spent $1,300 on a Chord 2Qute, but am back to the Mojo because it makes more financial sense for me at the moment.
