Do you collect PCDPs? Am I the only one?

I am collecting PCDP's.

In SONY of Japan, D-NE730 and D-NE830 discontinued producing.
This means sales only of cheap model (D-EJ002).

Moreover, the stick battery also discontinued producing.

Discman and CD Walkman seem to have died.

I really want a D-NE920, NE20, NE10 or NE900 as a portable CD transport. It's also handy when I go on trips and buy CD's without a laptop to rip.

Price in auction of Japan.
NE10 and NE900 are the 1/10 though the price of NE20 and NE920 is high.

NE900 is about JPY 1,000.
Though it doesn't function completely if there is no accessory. :)

Excuse me, I´m new in head-fi. I live in argentina and I have the posibility to buy a sony D33 brand new in its box for 100 dollars, a d555 used but in perfect condition and a techniss Sl-xp300 in 60 dolars with its original remote which is also in perfect condition.
I will use one of them to replace my not satisfying experiences after iphone 4 + fiio e11 via dock connector and will use it with senheisser px 100 II and sr 25 1 II with or without the amp.
I´d like to know which of them sounds best and in which order via line out or head output. thanks

[size=small]I am an avid collector (since 2003) and have in my possession pretty much all the PCDPs I ever wanted (sans Denon DCP-150). I even own the rare D-311 Gold & Silver (Limited 3,000) and the rarest of all PCDPs, the D-626; which you can plug your headphones to a remote unit and listen to it wirelessely~ in full working condition. I am selling a few from my private collection. They include:
  1. D-111
  2. D-303
  3. D-350
  4. D-515
  5. D-555
  6. D-777
  7. D-E900
I am looking for $999.99 for all seven of them or best offer from Head-Fi members. I have other models if you are looking for a specific one. They are in pristine condition and are in perfect working condition.

SONY Discman D-111, 303, 350, 515, 555, 777, E-900 - eBay (item 110464893347 end time Dec-11-09 18:59:47 PST)

Anyway, I know insomniac used to collect PCDPs but sold all of them. I have around 75 excluding the above. Does anyone still collect them or gave up on them? How about records (LPs)? I just bought a brand new Sony Turntable (yes, they still make them) and love it. I will take an LP over an iPod anytime, anyday. If you have never listened to the sounds of an LP, you are SO missing out on sound (I am referring to those born after 1985). Anyway, looking for fellow PCDP collectors to become friends with. I have been away from Head-fi for about 9 months and forgot how I much I used to enjoy it and was addicted to Head-fi. Dang...facebook, back to Head-Fi~!.

Still around? :)
