  I find them rather pleasing aesthetically, especially the woody varietys.  Though if you look in a mirror while wearing them you find you look rather ridiculous.

Actually, a fellow headfier pointed me in the direction of a way to 3d print the distancers. I just need to attach them, possibly with blu tac or something similar as a removable option. Then put the jumbo pads on and you have the MS Ultimate. To be determined if the felt lining will need to be applied. Apparently the sound goes up a notch, to be seen for me yet though. If not, they'll stay stock.
 
This will be my first Grado/Alessandro. About 25-30% of my listening is Rock/Metal music, so I should like em regardless.
