DIY your own Theme for your lovely X3

We just developed a firmware tools so people can un package the firmware, and them you can replace the origianl theme, includes fonts, color, icon, and background with your own design.

I hope people can discuss how to DIY the theme and it is quite simple if you just want to replace the background or the fonts. but it may take you a lots of
 
time to design a full theme files .

one question i have: how can i remove languages without screwing up the filesystem?
 
i can remove all language packs apart from chinese simplified&traditional if i want to use/select english so far...

I was able to add the Russian language in the firmware . More specifically I replaced the Spanish to Russian . When you first boot I choose Spanish , but in fact the interface is displayed in Russian .
Why not add a single new language? The fact that the number of languages ​​available in firmware stored in the file sys.bin. Sys.bin - it's all the code firmware that can be accessed only developers FiiO. Therefore, you can not add a new language. But you can substitute another language localization files , like I did .
Delete languages ​​that you do not use can not be ! This can cause problems with the firmware.

as FiiO had an external party build the device software, i think most of the code is proprietary, and that's why it's not possible.

i'm almost done with my theme, i've only to edit a few files.

about the language supports, it is not a simple work to us just replace some fonts, we need to change a lots of content and make sure there are not problem about the translation. 
 
anyway, with the help from our customers, we will support more language in the future when we have enough time.

i'm mostly interested if anyone sees anything green coloured (apart from the battery), or pink.
 
there were some images that didn't seem to be used, and i gave them those colours to test this.
