As a woodworker and carpenter i applaud your workmanship! Fantastic looking job! The only negative thing i can say is watch your back, i hear Larry's hired a goon to find you! lol.

I must say that your work is quite impressive. The way that you have designed the wooden cups does not require the forks to be shortened and this a preferable approach to this modification. I reckon that original grill should look superb with the wooden cups you have made. Kudos to you. Other wood conversions thus far have not replaced the "Grado Labs The Prestige Series" script and left the modified cup rather ordinary. You may investigate rubdown graphics to be fitted to the modified cup surfaces. A business like Pinks Color can recreate the exact script, fonts, and radius/ spacing quite inexpensively.

Ok, first off, you are hardcore. I can't believe you did this yourself...extremely good woodworking.

Honestly I dont care for the bloodwood color, but then again that is purely a personal preference.
Also, don't you think your mesh has holes that are too big? I mean debris can easily fall in behind the driver, and you will see the wiring, zip tie, and glue 'blobs' (if you leave them in there) with such large openings.

Hey, where did that leather headband come from?

This reminded me of a line from Ghostbusters:
"We've got the tools, and we've got the talent."

It holds true for you my man!

Wow Garrett, very impressive work and great pictures to show the progress! I think you are going to get lots of PMs commissioning your work on the HF-1.
