Cinderella - 68 ohm graphene
Clean, clear and deep bass. A top driver
Very cool!!
I have this shell coming - am very much interested in this build! In the build I have with the 68 graphene the bass is OK in amount, but the quality is just not so great. Vocals and treble are really nice though. I could salvage the driver from this build though - it is not so great.

Not sure if these are the same 120ohm beryllium composite drivers @jeejack is praising, but I have just bought 10 sample pieces for 11 euros (including free promotional delivery) from Alibaba.
I have no idea how this could have happened but I received 32ohm beryllium composite drivers instead. Alibaba order details show that this is what I ordered... Not bad for 11 euros but still.... Just placed another order for 120ohm drivers and made a copy of order confirmation page.

By the way, this was probably the best packed order in my 15 year-long history of buying from China, exluding the packaging of laser engraver which I bought last year. The drivers came double boxed with strech film and bubble wrap around two thick carton pieces covering the drivers placed inside polystyrene insert which you see in the photo.

Wife is out for the day and 68ohm graphene drivers have just arrived, which means the build of Artiste Nightingale is coming up next :)

The good news is that these are very good drivers. On AliExpress you pay 6-7 euros for a pair.

They definitely sound like nothing else I have. Well, they kind of remind of AKG K701 because of that spacious airy sound. Sub-bass is missing and that's a small let down but otherwise they are very good. @mt877, thanks again!

The shells are a bit too small for me, had to use silicon rings to have a better fit.

Yeah, but now I have 20 pairs :D

By the way, soldering those tiny wires for mmcx connectors was quite a challenge...

Nice! Yeah they are neutral bright to my ears, nice and forward mids and good treble extension. Only wish the bass was higher quality but that's the driver's limitation I think

Great! If you can solder the mmcx you can do anything!!! 😜
You went from beginner to advanced DIYer in just 2 builds!! 😂

@jeejack, from your experience is this driver capable of deep bass?

I had a laser vision correction two months ago. It went perfect but now I can see a little worse up close, which makes soldering quite difficult.

Ascii has used this driver before, and they said it's not for bassy sets. It's probably also why mt877 has released the tuning like so - letting the driver's strengths shine through

I dit it! It took quite some time but everything went pretty OK considering it was my first time soldering and holding a multimeter :)

I have to agree, I need smaller fingers for such tiny sticky things :)

After a short listen I can tell they sound very decent, safe. Yes, I do like them. To say something more, I will have to test them more thoroughly after the burn-in.
Thanks, @mt877 for sharing this solid build with the community!

Been away on vacation and just doing a little catch up.

Two completely different sounding builds. Congratulations, they look great and I'm glad you're liking how they sound. In regards to soldering mmcx connectors, did you by chance take a look at my earbuds soldering guide? There's nothing like getting some first hand experience for sure and the guide would have been a good soldering primer to get you started.
