I bought the Sennheiser ie8 today after doing a lot of research. The problem was, these were the only earphones that I could afford at the moment (have to save up for that Schiit Valhalla amp!). They were $180.00 refurbished (yes, don't worry, they're from a legit seller who I have done business with before). The Shure se 530 was my second option, but I couldn't find them under 275. My question is, did I make the right choice?
Some things to consider:
I LOVE the Sennheiser sound signature as I've owned some cx500s, HD 650s, and I currently own the Sennheiser HD 800s.
I've had Shure SRH-440s before and I loved the sound, but they were a little bass shy (I love clean and natural bass, not that Skullcandy BS).
Finally, I was wondering if these had good mids and treble?
