May I suggest you let the GSX mini play for at least 100 hours to let it settle in (With headphones connected). After that, listen to the mini for at least 30 minutes preferably more to get used to it. Only then switch back to the A90 for comparison.I am also thinking about returning my GSX mini that I just got since I can't really tell too much of a difference between it and the A90 on my Diana Phi when volume is matched ( My listening environment is pretty noisy and I am not sensitive enough to tell too much difference between well-driving amps ). However, I would rather sell it to someone (At the original price though) since the lead time for this is like 4 weeks. Also selling my Woo Audio WA2 since I have too many Abysses now .

Good suggestion, I will try that. I do need to let it and my brain burn-in a little bit.May I suggest you let the GSX mini play for at least 100 hours to let it settle in (With headphones connected). alright boys...I need some advice. I have the 1266TC, Diana V2 and Focal Radiance. The Focal Radiance are for occasions where I need a closed back. My problem is that the 1266 and Diana V2 are so noticeably better that I don't enjoy the music as much with the Radiance. What closed back headphone would you recommend I try to check out if I like the 1266 and V2? The headphone will need to have a 3.5 or 1/4 connector.

If you’re not in a rush, perhaps you can wait for the Diana closed to be announced (don’t know when though).
edit: @bluestorm1992 beat me to it!

The best closed back that might have a chance would be the Verite closed I think.alright boys...I need some advice. I have the 1266TC, Diana V2 and Focal Radiance. Ahh, damn. I thought about checking out the Radiance. The new Focal Celestee is said to be clearer than the Radiance. Have a look at Resolve's youtube review. Otherwise ... Personally I think Focal Stellia would match his taste as well. VC could be produce way too much bass for a person who like Diana.

Is Chord Hugo 2 really that underpowered for Diana v2? Should I take ifi Diablo instead? Anyone has tried both? Thanks

It's kinda underpowered for the Dianas. According to abyss, Diana V2 needs at least 1w at 32ohm. I think either black label or diablo would have plenty of power for that.Is Chord Hugo 2 really that underpowered for Diana v2? Should I take ifi Diablo instead? Anyone has tried both? Thanks

I think the Hugo 2 drives my Diana V2’s well.
As does my iDSD BL. I use it on 'normal' power level and it drives them loud and fully. Eco power mode however can get volume, but the bass is simply gone.
